qualified applicants for a full-time position in the faculty category of clinical lecturer, in the area of
Binocular Vision (BV)/Vision Therapy (VT)/Vision Rehabilitation. The position is a 1-year definite
term with the possibility of renewal.
The university Optometry Clinics include primary care and specialty clinics that encompass the full
spectrum of the contemporary practice of optometry. The successful candidate will be passionate
about teaching, clinical education, patient care, and the profession of optometry.
The successful candidate will have completed a Doctor of Optometry degree and a residency
including Vision Therapy/Vision Rehabilitation or have an equivalent of 3 or more years of clinical
experience in this area. The expectation is to be an enthusiastic clinical teacher with commitment
to exceptional patient care. Assignments will include evenings and some Saturday clinic.
The range of duties include intern supervision, residency supervision, on-call services, direct
patient care.
Applicants should be eligible for a general or academic certificate of registration with the College of
Optometrists of Ontario. Applicants would ideally be able to take up the position by August 2024.
Salary is negotiable within a range $95,000 to $120,000 commensurate with experience and
qualifications.

We are looking for a permanent, compassionate and motivated optometrist to start 2-3 days per week as well as 1 Saturday a month with the ability for future growth to 4 days a week. Our new associate would have their own fully equipped exam lane with full pretest including: auto-refraction, optos imaging, case history and tonometry before the examination.

We can provide training including the Sanet online courses. The OEPF courses would be strongly recommended as well. We also aim to go the annual Dry Eye Summit in Toronto to stay up-to-date with the latest dry eye treatment options for our patients. Our local ophthalmologists are quite booked up, so we end up managing glaucoma patients as well. Both our optometrists love learning and we would like an associate that has this drive as well.
