Summary:

Please come join our small, family-owned team. We are a highly rated, well-established optometry practice that specializes in comprehensive eye care, dry eye treatments and we work closely with our in-house ophthalmologist to support a more medically-based practice. We do also have a small but vibrant optical on the ground floor that is staffed by award-winning opticians. We are seeking both full-time and even possibly part-time optometrists to work with our team. We are often booked solid every day and at times are booked out over 1-2 weeks in advance.

Applicants must:

• Be a licensed Optometrist in British Columbia
• Be able to work Saturdays 9am - 4pm
• Can communicate in English very clearly, as over half of our customer and patients are older eye care patients

Our rate of pay is based on 70% of all exam fees collected. Please know that we are NOT a hard-sell practice and do not require doctors to sell and/or upsell. We focus strongly on quality of care and patient experience. There is, however, the possibility for commissions and/or bonuses for sales and/or expanding add-on services such as dry eye treatment, Morpheus8, RF/IPL, eye care products and/or eyewear purchases once you are on the team and have shown to increase revenue. This can be discussed in detail when we meet you to discuss the position.
