Job Duties

• Provide primary care eye exams to patients of all ages
• Provide vision therapy and vision rehabilitation to patients in need
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
• Provide ocular emergency care as needed
• Provide pre and post op care
• Provide ocular disease management & co-management with local ophthalmologists

Terms of Employment

• Permanent, full-time position (5 days a week)
• Can offer 3 days of primary care and 2 days for speciality eye exams
• Wages to be paid: Annual pay between 150,000-180,000
• Benefits Package: $5,000 relocation bonus

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Doctor of Optometry (OD) program
• Become certified with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC
• No previous work experience required - we welcome new graduates!
• A residency in vision therapy or post concussion rehabilitation is an asset
• Language requirements: English
