Summary:

Precious Eye Optometry is a well-established, patient-centered practice dedicated to providing comprehensive eye care services. We specialize in routine eye exams, contact lens fittings, treatment of ocular diseases, Myopia control and advanced vision care. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Part-Time Optometrist to join our friendly team immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform eye exams, including refraction, retinal exams, and visual field testing.
• Diagnose and treat eye diseases and conditions (e.g., glaucoma, cataracts, dry eye).
• Implement Myopia control and develop myopia management plan for patients with ortho K lenses, Miyosmart lens and Misight contacts.
• Prescribe glasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries.
• Educate patients on proper eye care and vision health.
• Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with privacy regulations.
• Collaborate with the clinic’s staff to ensure excellent patient service and care.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school.
• Valid state license to practice optometry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Optosys is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
