Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and skilled Independent Optometrist to operate within our office in the Costco Optical Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality eye care services, including routine eye exams, diagnosing and managing eye diseases. As an independent contractor, you will have the opportunity to manage your own practice.
Responsibilities: -Conduct comprehensive eye exams -Diagnose and manage eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration. -Educate patients on proper eye care and preventive measures. -Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. -Stay updated with the latest advancements in optometry and eye care.
Requirements: -Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited optometry school. -Valid optometry license in British Columbia. -Strong clinical skills and attention to detail. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -Ability to work independently and manage your own practice. -Commitment to providing outstanding patient care. -Proficiency in using optometry equipment and technology.
