Summary:

Our well-established private practice is seeking a full-time optometrist to join our Duncan team! The office is located in the beautiful Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island. Duncan is less than one hour outside of the cities of Victoria and Nanaimo and a 20 minute seaplane ride to Vancouver. The position offers the opportunity to practice full-scope optometry and work closely with ophthalmology and the local medical community. Duncan is surrounded by stunning coastline, rivers and lakes with endless outdoor recreation opportunities. The area also offers a vibrant arts and culture scene with lots of live entertainment all year round. We have a well established patient base and have been serving the community for over 15 years. You can expect variety in your patient care days including ocular disease, binocular vision disorders, myopia management, contact lens fitting along with general primary care. The clinic is well equipped with modern equipment including OCT. Our veteran support staff manage all administrative tasks and form a cohesive team to help your days run smoothly. Remuneration for the position is a guaranteed daily minimum with production bonus. An extended health and dental insurance plan is also included.
