We’re looking for an optometrist to work 1–2 days per week and are happy to offer flexible scheduling for the right candidate.

Viewing patient pre-test reports and history is easier than ever so you can have more informed consultations with your patients.

Role Description
The Associate Optometrist will be responsible for performing comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing and treating ocular diseases, and managing pre- and post-operative care for patients. The role also involves patient education regarding eye health and preventive care. Trained eyecare consultants welcome and take your patients through pre-testing so you have reports sent directly to your exam room to prepare for your consultations.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in conducting comprehensive eye exams and diagnosing ocular diseases
  • Skills in patient education and communication
  • Experience in managing pre- and post-operative care for patients
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Licensed to practice optometry in British Columbia

Compensation will include a competitive daily minimum and or percentage of billings. Our clinic is located in Terra Nova, Richmond BC.
